Here is a small app for noticing where your attention is. These terms describe what you can expect from it, and what we ask of you in return. By using Here, you agree to them.

The short version

Here is free, runs entirely on your device, and has no accounts. You own everything you record. We provide the app as-is and can't promise it will be perfect. Here is a tool for reflection, not medical advice.

Using the app

You may use Here for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control. Please don't reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app, or use it in any way that breaks the law or interferes with others.

Your data

Here stores what you record locally on your device. We do not run accounts and do not collect your data. You are responsible for your own device and for keeping any data you wish to retain — for example, by using the app's export feature before deleting the app. See our Privacy Policy for details on how data is handled.

Connecting other services

In the future, Here may let you connect optional third-party services to bring your own data into the app. Connecting a service is always your choice. When you connect one:

You authorize Here to access the specific information you approve through that service's official interface, and only that information. Data brought in this way is used to provide features within Here and is handled the same way as the rest of your data. Your use of the third-party service remains governed by that service's own terms and privacy policy, which are separate from these terms. You can disconnect a service at any time, which stops Here from accessing further data from it.

Anything you see in Here, including data from connected services, is for informational purposes only. Don't rely on it for health decisions — talk to a qualified professional.

Here is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your particular needs. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer of Here is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

Changes to the app and these terms

Here may change over time, and features may be added or removed. If these terms change, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change. Continuing to use Here after a change means you accept the updated terms.
